We provide valuation advice to lending institutions and corporate client for incorporation within statutory accounts. We routinely advise in respect of formal landlord and tenant relationships, drawing on our detailed knowledge of the interpretation of lease clauses and relevant statute law.

We advise in respect of lease renewals and rent reviews often representing Clients as expert witness before independent surveyors and arbitrators where negotiated settlements are not possible.

We are able to provide advice in respect of business rating and have have experience representing Clients at the Local Valuation Tribunal in appeal cases.

We provide advice in respect of planning law and procedures. We act as part of the development team, to advise on the logistics of securing successful planning determinations. When not successful we represent Clients under the informal written procedure, at informal hearing or at full planning inquiries.

• Rating negotiations in respect of an explosive manufacturing site in Derbyshire

• Co-ordinating a public planning inquiry with a view to securing a planning consent on mixed office and residential development site in Central London
